Link battles his shadow self in the final scene of “Zelda II The Adventure of Link” for the Nintendo Entertainment System.

Once Link knows his shadow self, integration occurs. The Triforce Keeper knows Link is ready. and will only use the power of the Triforce for good. The power of the Triforce can be used for evil and must be protected.
