Vitamin K2 is important for better absorption of Vitamin D3 from the Sun

Animal products are rich in K2. Eggs and Beef are a couple options. You want pasture raised eggs usually not from the store. Chickens like to eat grass, worms and insects, this will maximize K2 levels in the egg. I am not sure if any eggs in the store allow them to roam around like that. They stay in a barn and I do not see any grass growing usually in these barns. They have a small exit and a small fenced area to roam with no grass, but it’s guarded by the more aggressive chickens. I would recommend purchasing eggs locally or having chickens yourself if your city allows it. Farmers Markets will have pasture raised eggs and don’t be afraid to ask if they only use organic feed to supplement. There is a plant sourced Vitamin D3 supplement available online, but I would rather much just go outside and soak up some rays, but an extra supplement can’t hurt if you don’t get at least 1 hour of sun daily.
